Responsibilities
As a Research Associate (Cellular Agriculture), you will play a critical role in advancing NTU’s research projects. Key duties include:
- Conducting experiments related to the synthesis and characterization of antimicrobial peptides and peptide bacterial binders.
- Supporting surface assembly processes and antimicrobial assays development.
- Preparing data, proposals, and documentation for grant applications and research reports.
- Assisting in interpreting experimental results and monitoring project progress.
- Collaborating with international research partners on electrochemical and biosensing studies.
- Providing guidance and training to new team members on laboratory techniques.
- Reporting remotely to the Principal Investigator and participating in training sessions in Israel.
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Master’s degree in Peptide Chemistry, Microbiology, or a closely related field.
- Strong background in peptide chemistry and antimicrobial peptide design.
- Hands-on experience in experimental laboratory research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
