Responsibilities
As a Room Attendant, you will:
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms including changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and presentation throughout all guest areas.
- Restock housekeeping trolleys and ensure supplies are well organized.
- Follow all safety and cleaning protocols, ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Respect guest privacy and security at all times.
- Report maintenance or repair needs promptly to supervisors.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet housekeeping and guest satisfaction goals.
- Uphold Accor’s standards of service, ensuring each guest feels valued and cared for.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a cleaner or room attendant preferred, but not essential.
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual cleaning tasks.
- Able to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
- Must have reliable transport to and from Lake Tekapo.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Legal right to work in New Zealand.
