Key Responsibilities
As a Storeperson, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations within the warehouse. Your responsibilities include:
- Picking fresh produce orders accurately and efficiently.
- Processing and dispatching customer orders within deadlines.
- Loading and unloading goods safely.
- Checking produce quality and reporting any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintaining stock records and following proper storage procedures.
- Operating forklifts (if licensed) to move and organize pallets.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Working collaboratively with the team to achieve productivity targets.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment (preferred).
- Forklift experience with a valid licence and OSH certificate (preferred).
- A current NZ driver’s licence (minimum restricted).
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with SAP (desirable).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Physical fitness, with the ability to lift up to 25kg safely.
- Proof of eligibility to work in New Zealand (visa sponsorship not available).
