Responsibilities

  • Perform welding and fitting tasks using FCAW, SMAW, and GTAW processes.
  • Fit and burn plate and structural components according to project requirements.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Maintain high standards of reliability and punctuality in daily work.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to welding tasks and equipment.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Perform tasks with dedication, flexibility, and safety awareness.
  • Complete assigned duties in marine, aluminum, stainless steel, and structural work (as needed).

Requirements

  • Ability to pass welder certification tests.
  • Experience in fitting and burning plate/structural materials.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experience with FCAW, SMAW, and GTAW in all positions.
  • Marine welding experience (an asset).
  • Aluminum and stainless steel welding experience (an asset).
  • Willingness to work 40+ hours weekly, including shift work.
  • Ability to travel for work when required.
