Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms including bed making, linen changing, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, and floors.
- Replenish towels, toiletries, drinking glasses, and other guest amenities.
- Remove trash, used linens, and room service items.
- Inspect rooms for damages and report maintenance issues immediately.
- Handle lost and found items according to hotel policies.
- Ensure guest requests are handled promptly and with courtesy.
- Clean public areas including hallways, elevators, lobbies, and back-of-house spaces.
- Maintain housekeeping carts fully stocked at the start and end of each shift.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and according to hotel standards.
- Follow all health, hygiene, and safety procedures.
- Ensure full compliance with hotel SOPs and mandatory training.
Requirements
- Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit to handle cleaning tasks and long working hours.
