Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily operations of animal care and husbandry teams across multiple facilities.
- Oversee manpower planning, staff deployment, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure all employees follow approved animal handling, care, and safety procedures.
- Serve as the main project contact point, ensuring clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor workplace safety, health compliance, and risk management practices.
- Prepare operational reports, performance assessments, and mandatory compliance documents.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure project standards and contract requirements are met.
- Develop and implement training programs for animal husbandry staff.
- Respond quickly to emergencies, incidents, and special service requests.
- Ensure all operations comply with legal, ethical, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on animal handling or animal husbandry experience.
- Strong understanding of animal welfare, care techniques, and handling practices.
- Knowledge of workplace safety (WSH) and risk management guidelines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
- Diploma or higher in Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, Life Sciences, or related field preferred.
- O-Level holders with strong relevant experience will also be consider.
