Responsibilities

  • Fabricate mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components and structures
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding according to specifications and blueprints
  • Cut, grind, and prepare aluminium materials for welding
  • Operate and maintain welding machines and equipment
  • Inspect welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
  • Maintain records of work performed and materials used
  • Work closely with welders, fabricators, and engineers
  • Move, handle, and store finished products as required
  • Ensure tools and equipment are kept in safe working condition

Requirements

  • Trade Certificate in Welding and/or minimum 3 years of welding experience
  • Strong experience in fabricating components, products, or structures
  • Thorough understanding of aluminium welding properties and techniques
  • Sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirements
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work in various physical positions
  • Ability to supply and maintain own commercial-grade tools
  • Own vehicle to travel to worksites with tools
  • Valid driver’s licence (manual preferred)
