Responsibilities

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Apply strong knowledge of tire types including R1, R1W, R2, R3, R4, R4+, L2, L3, E3, and more.
  • Understand tire applications for agriculture, construction, mining, forestry, and material handling.
  • Read and interpret technical data, including PR, LI, TKPH, and TRA codes.
  • Select appropriate tires based on application, soil conditions, equipment (OEM/aftermarket), load, speed, and duty cycle.
  • Analyze field failures such as irregular wear, cuts, separations, and overloads.
  • Provide technical training to distributors and end customers.
  • Support OE2 homologations and ensure wheel/rim compatibility.

Commercial Responsibilities:

  • Manage key accounts and distributors to maximize sales and business growth.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients.
  • Develop annual customer business plans focused on volume, product mix, and profitability.
  • Drive margin, EBITDA, and profitability per ton.
  • Close deals, secure recurring orders, and overcome commercial and technical objections.
  • Penetrate new market segments and expand market share.
  • Utilize commercial tools such as credit notes, pricing levers, and marketing programs.
  • Conduct forecasting, quarterly planning, and weekly order follow-ups.

Cross-Functional and Behavioral Responsibilities:

  • Communicate clearly with both technical and purchasing stakeholders.
  • Prioritize key customers and SKUs effectively.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams.
  • Maintain a proactive, “go-get-the-order” mentality.
  • Follow up post-sales and manage claims to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven technical expertise in off-highway tires and applications.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills with experience in key account management.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data and perform field failure analysis.
  • Track record of market development and segment penetration.
  • Strong execution mindset, discipline, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with customers and internal teams.

  • Technical: Tire selection, radial vs. bias construction, VF/IF technologies, wheel/rim compatibility, technical training.
  • Commercial: Negotiation, sales strategy, forecasting, margin and profitability management, deal-closing skills.

  • Analytical: Ability to assess field failures, interpret technical data, and make informed business decisions.
