Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary depending on the assigned role and may include:
- Caring for tomato plants through leafing, pollinating, twisting, and lowering
- Picking ripe tomatoes according to quality standards
- Packing tomatoes in an indoor packing facility
- Standing or walking for long periods during each shift
- Performing repetitive hand and arm movements safely
- Working in warm and humid glasshouse conditions or cool packing environments
- Following food safety, quality, and hygiene standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Working cooperatively with team members and supervisors
- Following all occupational health and safety guidelines
Requirements
To be successful in these roles, candidates must:
- Have valid work rights in Australia
