This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced agricultural environment and managing diverse farm teams. The Farm Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth farm operations, high-quality cherry harvesting, and strict compliance with safety and company standards throughout the year.

Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise team leaders and farm workers to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently
- Organize, instruct, and coordinate work teams during harvest to meet quality and timing standards
- Monitor picking practices to ensure fruit quality meets company requirements
- Communicate daily progress and challenges to the Operations Manager
- Ensure all employees follow company policies, food safety, and work safety regulations
- Provide training and guidance on safe work procedures
- Manage the worker camp and ensure cleanliness and compliance with company rules
- Implement strategies to maintain a tidy and well-managed camp residence
- Operate farm equipment when additional support is required
- Ensure on-site equipment and appliances are properly maintained
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager on daily operations
- Perform other farm-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
- Previous farming experience, especially in planning and production (asset)
- Ability to work independently and manage daily farm demands
- Sound knowledge of health and safety standards in agriculture
- Willingness and ability to work long hours, especially during peak harvest months (July–August)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Spanish language skills are considered an asset
