Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages safely and on time across the Lower Mainland
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at all delivery points
- Use digital dispatch systems to manage routes and obtain electronic signatures
- Plan efficient delivery routes using local area knowledge
- Maintain accurate delivery records through electronic systems
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness, safety, and roadworthiness
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery updates
- Work efficiently under pressure in time-sensitive situations
- Represent Novex professionally while interacting with clients
Requirements
- Owner/Operator with a 2012 or newer vehicle
- Preference given to hybrids and compact cargo vans
- Valid BC Driver’s License
- ICBC Class 13 (Delivery Use) insurance with minimum $5,000,000 Third Party Liability
- WorkSafe BC – Personal Optional Protection
- Excellent geographical knowledge of the Lower Mainland
- Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends if required
- Successful completion of a Canadian Criminal Record Check
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
