Responsibilities
- Assist with MIG and wire welding processes under supervision
- Support welding operations using GMAW, plasma, and oxyacetylene equipment
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Prepare, clean, and inspect materials and work areas
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Assist with equipment setup and basic operation
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and improvement projects
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements
- Registered Apprentice Welder or willing to obtain certification
- Strong willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and standing for long periods
- Must pass drug and alcohol testing, audiometric testing, and fit-for-work assessments
- Clean-shaven as required for respirator use
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
