Hotel Manager Job in Spain: Main Responsibilities
The Centre / Hotel Operations Manager will oversee the centre’s daily activities and residential properties. Responsibilities include maintaining accommodation, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, communal areas, and guest services. The manager must coordinate arrivals, stays, transitions, and departures while resolving operational problems quickly.
Another important duty is organizing individual client schedules. These may include therapy appointments, medical consultations, fitness sessions, yoga, meditation, massage, wellness activities, excursions, and transportation. The manager will coordinate with therapists, healthcare professionals, wellness practitioners, support staff, and drivers to help appointments run smoothly.
This is an operational coordination role, not a clinical position. The manager will not diagnose conditions, provide treatment or therapy, or make clinical decisions. Instead, they will escalate concerns through the appropriate professional channels.
Team Leadership and Service Standards
The successful candidate will supervise hospitality, client-support, and operational teams. Duties include arranging staff rotas, assigning responsibilities, supporting recruitment, training employees, and maintaining clear professional standards.
The manager will also coordinate with chefs and nutrition professionals to communicate dietary requirements, allergies, meal preferences, and schedules. In addition, they will maintain operational records, improve standard operating procedures, monitor service quality, follow health and safety requirements, and report incidents appropriately.
Confidentiality is essential because clients may be experiencing addiction recovery, burnout, emotional difficulties, or mental health challenges.
