Key Responsibilities

  • Answer Agriculture Department telephone calls and arrange conference calls.
  • Perform heavy lifting (over 40 pounds) and assist with physical labor as required.
  • Support daily Ag Department Grant Objectives.
  • Compose and type routine correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems and department records.
  • Drive 4-H participants to and from learning sites.
  • Help plan, schedule, and conduct 4-H youth activities and stakeholder meetings.
  • Arrange and coordinate departmental meetings and workshops.
  • Make copies of documents, letters, and other printed materials.
  • Prepare outgoing mail, emails, and faxes.
  • Order supplies and arrange for equipment maintenance and inventory.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the department.

Requirement

  • Valid Driver’s License (mandatory).
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Associate Degree preferred but not required.
  • Strong agricultural background preferred.
