Full Job Description of Kitchen Hand
- Working efficiently autonomously
- Maintaining a clean and functioning kitchen
- Washing and cleaning kitchen utensils and equipment
- You’ll perform general kitchen duties, while being fully compliant with processes in health and safety, food hygiene regulations
- Maintaining a clean kitchen:This includes washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, as well as cleaning work surfaces, floors, and equipment.
- Ensuring food preparation areas are clean and hygienic:This involves wiping down surfaces, sanitizing equipment, and ensuring proper storage of food and supplies.
- Removing garbage and trash:Properly disposing of food waste and ensuring garbage bins are emptied regularly.
- Cleaning kitchen equipment and appliances:Washing and sanitizing ovens, stoves, refrigerators, and other kitchen appliances.
What are we looking for Kitchen Hand
- Able to showcase excellent time management skills
- You will have at least 1 year in a hospitality role within a restaurant/cafe environment.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety rules and procedures.
- Must be available to work the shift times above – with no work restrictions
