The Hotel
Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns is a luxury five-star hotel located beside Marlin Marina and Trinity Inlet in the heart of Cairns. About the Role
To clean and sanitize all assigned guest rooms and suites in accordance with establish standards and procedures to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
- Clean guest rooms, suites and corridors to Shangri-La Standards.
- Ensure all assigned tasks meet Shangri-La standards, including cleaning guest rooms, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of trolleys, pantries, and service areas.
- Safely use and care for equipment, follow safety procedures, and ensure efficient use of materials, supplies
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and lost property to the appropriate department; respond promptly to guest complaints or incidents.
- Follow all recycling, energy-saving, and safety procedures; perform additional duties as directed by supervisors or management.

- Proven experience working as a Room Attendant
- Precision and attention to detail
- Professionalism and pride within their personal grooming
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Full roster flexibility
- Dedication to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor
- Capacity to adhere to all safety and security procedures, including reporting any suspicious activity or hazards.
