The Position:
Maali Group is seeking applications from experienced Civil Engineer based in Perth with some site travel as required.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Previous engineering experience across a variety of brownfields and greenfields civil works including but not limited to; drainage, earthworks, and paving
- Able to Liaise with contractors, vendors and other stakeholders on a technical level and present reports, publications, and presentations in a professional manner
- High attention to detail with the ability to remain organised to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Develop engineering solutions that ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations
- Collaboratively work with the Project Manager on multidisciplinary civil projects from planning through to delivery and handover
- Procurement management, tendering, bidding and estimation
- Ensure quality control through ITPs, RFIs, NCRs, SWMPs, SDS, and MDRs
- Quality and HSE compliance to standard, specifications and contractual obligations
- Manage contracts, variations, progress payments deliverables, and extensions of time (EOTs)
- Drive cost control, forecasting, financial reporting, and material take-offs
- Prepare and maintain daily reports, sequencing plans, and project documentation
- Coordinate design reviews, procedure development, and scope management
- Oversee project handover processes, including ASCONs and DFLs
- Support conflict resolution, resource management, and ownership of critical controls
Essential Requirements:
- Civil Engineering Degree
- Member of Engineers Australia (Highly Regarded)
- OHS Construction Induction ‘White Card
- Drivers Licence C Class – Unrestricted
