Cleaner and Housekeeper Jobs Full Description

This is why our Bupa Totara Gardens Care Home in Whangarei, Northland is searching for a like-mind Cleaner-Housekeeper to join our community. Moreover This is a great opportunity to work close to home, avoiding the hustle and bustle of city traffic, and working the hours that fit your schedule. We have one permanent, part time role available at Totara Gardens Care Home, and a casual position available at our Merrivale Care Home.

  • Moreover Permanent Part Time Role: Average of 25 hours per week (total of 154 hours in a 6-week roster cycle). You will work 4 days on, 2 days off with a mix of AM and PM shifts (8:00am – 3:30pm and 2:00pm – 6pm). This roster covers Monday – Sunday.
  • Casual Role: no guaranteed hours, and will be on an as-needed basis.

Where You Will Make an Impact

  • Moreover Maintain a high standard of cleaning as set out on the cleaning schedule.
  • Managing cleaning supplies.
  • Moreover Meeting of daily schedule to ensure that residents’ rooms and public areas are in perfect order, reporting any faults or issues to the Household supervisor.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe chemical use and storage.
  • Treat residents with respect and dignity.

Cleaner and Housekeeper Jobs What About You

  • Moreover Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is preferable.
  • Be prepared to roll up your sleeve and get stuck into whatever needs to get done.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, care, and passion for making a difference in our residents’ lives.
  • Moreover Must have flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week, including weekends and evenings.
  • Reliable transport or travel arrangements.
  • Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
