Job Responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver, your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating motor vehicles safely to complete local and regional deliveries
- Transporting goods to various locations within urban areas
- Loading, unloading, and handling packages weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Meeting delivery schedules in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail during deliveries
- Following assigned routes and adapting to changing delivery locations
- Working independently while managing time and priorities effectively
- Ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company procedures
- Maintaining professionalism while representing the company on the road
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Valid Class 5 / 5F / G Driver’s Licence
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Authorization to work in Canada
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
