Key Responsibilities

As a Delivery Driver at UPS Canada, your main responsibilities include:

  1. Delivering and picking up packages from residential and commercial locations.
  2. Practicing safe and defensive driving techniques in accordance with UPS standards.
  3. Loading and unloading delivery trucks efficiently.
  4. Handling, scanning, and recording package information accurately.
  5. Managing delivery routes using GPS or map systems for efficiency.

Requirements

To qualify for the UPS Delivery Driver position, candidates must meet the following:

  • Valid Ontario G driver’s license.
  • Clean driving record — no at-fault accidents in the last 3 years and no major traffic violations in the last 12 months.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg) unassisted.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using GPS, maps, and navigation systems.
  • Available Monday–Friday and some Saturdays depending on workload.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
