Full Job Description of Permanent Cashier
- Attend any queries or requests from the visitors and employees.
- Prepare and serve the beverages very hygienically.
- Maintain the kitchen / pantry kept clean all the times.
- Maintain the stock of necessary refreshment material and properly store under his custody.
- Provide the information, greeting persons entering the organization and directing individuals to correct destination.
- Assists the administrative staff for any office duties.
- Distribute couriers or parcels among employees.
- The incumbent will ensure that preparation and serving of tea, coffee, cold drinks, and other refreshments are provided as per the requirements.
- The incumbent will also ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the pantry, manages pantry items and ensure replenishment of refreshment materials on time.Greets customers including answering phones and directing customer inquiries to appropriate party.
- Answers routine billing questions/issues from customers.
- Assists in the opening and closing of the store which includes and but not limited to cash handling and deposits.
- Completes, processes, and maintains applicable paperwork and records.
- Identify prices of goods using memory or scanner.
- Enter transactions in the cash register and provide customers with the total bill.
- Sort and count currency and coins.
- Issue receipts and change to customers.
- Count money at the end and beginning of each shift.
- Process credit card and check payments.
- Perform the duties of customer service representative when required.
- Assist in stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and marking prices.
- Open and close tills.
What are we looking for Permanent Cashier
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in cashiering.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, handling high volumes of transactions efficiently, preferably in retail luxury.
- Demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively within a team of at least 10 staff members.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and highly observant.
- Ability to multitask.
- Proven good customer experience background.
