Responsibilitie
- Operate excavators and multiple types of heavy machinery, including dozers, loaders, graders, backhoes, and water trucks.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimum performance.
- Collaborate with supervisors and fellow operators to maintain smooth workflow.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure safe operations across the job site.
- Assist with site preparation tasks such as clearing debris, trenching, and material movement.
- Keep accurate records of equipment usage and report mechanical issues immediately.
- Participate in horizontal drilling operations when needed.
- Operate dump trucks and tankers for material transport as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating excavators in a construction environment.
- Ability to operate a variety of heavy equipment confidently.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driving License) preferred.
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and worksite procedures.
- Experience in paving operations is an added advantage.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions while maintaining productivity and safety.
