Coral Beach Farms, operating under the well-known brand Jealous Fruits, is hiring an experienced and dedicated Farm Manager Job in Canada. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced agricultural environment and managing diverse farm teams. The Farm Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth farm operations, high-quality cherry harvesting, and strict compliance with safety and company standards throughout the year.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise team leaders and farm workers to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently
  • Organize, instruct, and coordinate work teams during harvest to meet quality and timing standards
  • Monitor picking practices to ensure fruit quality meets company requirements
  • Communicate daily progress and challenges to the Operations Manager
  • Ensure all employees follow company policies, food safety, and work safety regulations
  • Provide training and guidance on safe work procedures
  • Manage the worker camp and ensure cleanliness and compliance with company rules
  • Implement strategies to maintain a tidy and well-managed camp residence
  • Operate farm equipment when additional support is required
  • Ensure on-site equipment and appliances are properly maintained
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager on daily operations
  • Perform other farm-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
  • Previous farming experience, especially in planning and production (asset)
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily farm demands
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety standards in agriculture
  • Willingness and ability to work long hours, especially during peak harvest months (July–August)
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Spanish language skills are considered an asset
