Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring all hygiene and safety standards are followed at all times.
  • Provide guests with accurate information about hotel services, promotions, and menu offerings.
  • Demonstrate professional telephone etiquette and clear communication when taking orders.
  • Accurately take guest orders, including honoring special requests and upselling additional items where appropriate.
  • Enter all orders correctly into the Micros POS system and communicate them efficiently to the service team.
  • Track incoming and outgoing orders using floor sheets to ensure timely service and accuracy.
  • Process pre-ordered meals and amenities, ensuring correct preparation and delivery times are met.
  • Handle all guest inquiries and complaints courteously and professionally, resolving issues promptly.
  • Perform shift-end duties such as running Micros reports, paying out gratuities, and submitting cash drops.
  • Assist with tray and table setups and side work duties when needed to support the team.
  • Maintain an accurate balance of your cash bank and ensure proper check closures.
  • Conduct courtesy call-backs to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Responsible, reliable, and able to manage tasks efficiently under pressure.
  • Positive team player with a cooperative attitude.
  • Ability to stay calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in Food & Beverage is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Micros POS is an advantage (training will be provided if needed).
  • Willingness to assist in various duties beyond primary responsibilities when required.
