Job Description

As a Front Desk Agent at Ibis and Adagio Aparthotels in Doha, your role is to provide exceptional service by greeting and assisting guests, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, and managing all guest inquiries efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of transactions, handling payments, and collaborating with various departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring their check-in and check-out process is smooth and efficient.
  • Confirm guest reservations and assign rooms in collaboration with housekeeping and reservations teams.
  • Handle payments of all types, including cash, checks, debit, and credit, ensuring accurate transaction records.
  • Address guest concerns and requests promptly and effectively, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily transactions and cash handling, including currency exchange and balancing floats.
  • Resolve any issues regarding late or disputed charges while adhering to service standards.
  • Support and promote a professional team environment and work collaboratively with other hotel departments.
  • Adhere to all internal policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure high-quality guest service.
  • Uphold the highest standards of internal and external customer service, consistently exceeding guest expectations.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in English (verbal & written). Knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
  • Previous experience with Opera (property management system) is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous while addressing guest needs, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
