Job Summary – Gardener (Full-Time, Permanent)
The Gardener will join the Housing Team and take responsibility for maintaining landscaping across residential areas within Yulara, ensuring all gardens and grounds are kept to a high standard. The role requires both practical horticulture skills and an understanding of environmental sensitivity due to the resort’s location within a fragile desert ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain landscaping across all residential areas at a consistently high standard
- Support the Housing Management Team in establishing a sustainable and manageable landscaping plan
- Carry out horticultural and landscaping work in a professional and environmentally respectful manner
- Care for native plants and ensure all work aligns with the needs of the local desert ecosystem
- Operate equipment and tools safely and responsibly as required
- Ensure gardens, pathways, and outdoor areas remain safe, clean, and visually appealing
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscaping
- Passion for plant care, outdoor work, and environmental sustainability
- Ability to work professionally within a fragile natural environment
- Strong physical fitness to work outdoors in varying weather
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Must hold a full Australian driver’s licence
- Ability to pass a National Criminal History Check (mandatory)
