Godolphin Australia is seeking an experienced Gardener Job in Australia to join its team at Woodlands Stud Farm in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. Job Responsibilities
As a Gardener at Woodlands Stud Farm, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining gardens, lawns, landscaped areas, and surrounds to a high presentation standard
- Mowing, pruning, hedging, and carrying out seasonal gardening works
- Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and irrigation systems
- Monitoring plant and turf health
- Undertaking planting, weed control, pest control, and disease management as required
- Supporting the Head Gardener in maintaining site presentation
- Following safe work practices across all gardening activities
- Contributing positively to the overall appearance of the stud property
Requirements
To be suitable for this role, candidates must have:
- A genuine passion for horticulture
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- A minimum of three years’ practical experience in a similar gardening role (preferred)
- Horticulture qualifications (preferred but not essential)
- A current Chemical Certificate (preferred but not essential)
- Legal authorisation to work in Australia
- Ability to work full-time, 38 hours per week, on-site
