Responsibilities
As part of the Marlborough Horticulture Team, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and maintaining gardens to meet client specifications.
- Sourcing plants and materials and following detailed garden plans.
- Planting and maintaining gardens according to best practices.
- Managing day-to-day operations of assigned sites.
- Communicating with the Operations and Team Manager and addressing garden or planting issues promptly.
- Prioritising safety, compliance, and quality in all gardening activities.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Level 4 National Certificate in Horticulture (Level 3 may be considered).
- GrowSafe certification.
- At least 3 years of relevant horticulture experience.
- A full driver’s licence, with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
- Strong knowledge of plant species and their maintenance needs.
- Ability to accurately follow and implement garden plans.
