Green by Nature is expanding its Horticulture Job in New Zealand team in Marlborough, New Zealand, after being selected as one of Marlborough District Council’s service providers starting November 1, 2025. Responsibilities

As part of the Marlborough Horticulture Team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and maintaining gardens to meet client specifications.
  • Sourcing plants and materials and following detailed garden plans.
  • Planting and maintaining gardens according to best practices.
  • Managing day-to-day operations of assigned sites.
  • Communicating with the Operations and Team Manager and addressing garden or planting issues promptly.
  • Prioritising safety, compliance, and quality in all gardening activities.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Level 4 National Certificate in Horticulture (Level 3 may be considered).
  • GrowSafe certification.
  • At least 3 years of relevant horticulture experience.
  • A full driver’s licence, with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
  • Strong knowledge of plant species and their maintenance needs.
  • Ability to accurately follow and implement garden plans.
