Full Job Description of Nursery Labourer

• Clean the crops
• Weeding
• Pot and re-pot plants
• Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
• Apply fertilizers
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• Clean work area
• Planting and Transplanting: Prepare soil, plant seeds, bulbs, cuttings, and seedlings, and transplant rooted cuttings. 
• Watering and Irrigation: Ensure plants receive adequate water, and adjust irrigation systems as needed. 
• Pruning and Trimming: Maintain plant shape and health through pruning and trimming. 
• Fertilizing: Apply fertilizers to promote healthy growth. 
• Pest and Disease Control: Monitor plants for pests and diseases, and implement appropriate control measures. 
• Weeding: Remove weeds to prevent competition with plants. 
• Mulching: Apply mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds. 
• Plant Propagation: Assist with collecting seeds, preparing propagation materials, and caring for newly propagated plants. 
• Repotting: Repot growing plants to ensure they have sufficient space.
