About the Role
The Office Assistant (Oud Metha) plays a key role in maintaining the smooth functioning of the head office by managing daily administrative tasks, coordinating supplies, and handling documentation efficiently. This position requires someone organized, reliable, and ready to support multiple departments while ensuring that operational standards and office procedures are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
As an Office Assistant at GMG Dubai, your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Performing general clerical duties including typing, photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels of pantry supplies and office essentials with proper inventory records.
- Assisting in the collection, distribution, and dispatch of payment vouchers, couriers, bills, and letters.
- Supporting the maintenance and supply of office equipment as required.
- Organizing and maintaining document control and filing systems for the division or department.
- Gathering, entering, and updating data to maintain internal records, files, and databases.
- Maintaining confidentiality of documents and sensitive information at all times.
- Coordinating incoming and outgoing courier services, ensuring timely delivery of documents and parcels.
- Addressing and resolving office-related inquiries from staff members.
- Providing general support to ensure smooth daily office operations.
Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in office administration or clerical roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and general office equipment.
