Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of poultry farm duties such as walking through sheds, collecting eggs, grading and packing eggs, and cleaning facilities.
- Maintain strict hygiene and biosecurity procedures by showering on and off before and after shifts.
- Monitor bird welfare and report any irregularities or concerns to supervisors.
- Operate within the company’s safety and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with a multicultural team to meet daily production goals.
- Follow farm schedules, work instructions, and biosecurity requirements.
- Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in clean and safe condition.
Requirements
- No formal experience required; full training provided.
- Must meet poultry industry biosecurity standards (cannot keep poultry, birds, or pigs at home).
- Must hold a valid driver’s licence and have reliable transport to reach farm sites.
- Availability to work across 7 days per week with flexible hours.
- Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive, hands-on tasks.
- Must not reside with anyone employed in other poultry or pig farms.
- Good understanding of English (spoken and written).
