Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily operations of animal care and husbandry teams across multiple facilities
- Oversee manpower deployment, scheduling, and performance management
- Ensure all staff comply with animal care, handling, and safety standards
- Act as the main point of contact for project-related matters
- Maintain smooth communication with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Monitor and enforce workplace safety, health, and risk management practices
- Prepare and submit operational reports, performance assessments, and compliance documentation
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards and contract requirements are met
- Implement training and development programs for animal husbandry staff
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and ad-hoc service requests
- Ensure all operations comply with legal, safety, and ethical regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in animal handling or animal husbandry
- Diploma or higher in Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, Life Sciences, or related field (O-Level with strong experience will be considered)
- Strong understanding of animal care, welfare, and handling practices
- Knowledge of workplace safety, health (WSH), and risk management standards
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Saudi Arabia
