Responsibilities
- Supervise all agricultural, landscaping, and irrigation-related construction activities.
- Ensure project work aligns with approved designs, specifications, and authority standards.
- Monitor contractor performance, progress, and quality of work at all project stages.
- Review and approve materials, shop drawings, irrigation layouts, and planting plans.
- Coordinate with local authorities such as Ashghal, MoM, Kahramaa, and others for project compliance.
- Provide technical guidance on soil improvement, planting techniques, and irrigation system installation.
- Lead site inspections and ensure issues are documented and resolved promptly.
- Prepare supervision reports, progress updates, and compliance documentation.
- Oversee contractor safety procedures and ensure adherence to QHSE regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers for smooth project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, Landscape Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 14 years of total experience, with at least 7 years in supervising large-scale landscaping, agriculture, or irrigation projects.
- Consultancy or construction supervision background preferred.
- UPDA Grade A or B certification is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of horticulture, soil improvement, planting methods, and irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of Qatar’s local authority regulations (Ashghal, MoM, Kahramaa, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
