About the Team / Location
You will be part of the Supply Chain Team based in Hawke’s Bay, reporting to the Distribution Team Leader. The team is responsible for warehousing, inventory management, and distribution services across the district. The work environment is fast-paced, team-oriented, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities
As a Store Person, your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, checking, and dispatching medical and non-medical supplies
- Managing stock rotation and maintaining accurate inventory levels
- Supporting hospital departments with timely supply deliveries
- Maintaining clean, tidy, and well-organised storerooms
- Responding to service requests efficiently and professionally
- Using inventory management and ERP systems for stock control
- Operating equipment safely in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assisting with general warehousing and distribution duties
- Contributing to continuous improvement within the supply chain process
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- General warehousing or store person experience
- A current Class 1 Driver’s Licence (Forklift licence is desirable)
- Ability to lift up to 20kg and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, squatting, and climbing stairs
- Proven computer skills, including MS Office and inventory systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a commitment to equity
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
