Responsibilities
As a Store Supervisor in GMG’s UAE Sports Retail division, you will:
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily shop floor and back-office operations.
- Assist in meeting and exceeding sales targets and performance goals.
- Prepare forecasts, schedule staff, and analyze sales trends to optimize results.
- Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service aligned with GMG’s brand promise.
- Oversee visual merchandising, inventory control, and stock replenishment activities.
- Manage promotional campaigns and product launches to boost sales.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally.
- Lead by example to motivate, train, and support team members.
- Conduct and assist in employee performance reviews and development sessions.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a retail management or supervisory position.
- Prior experience in sports, fashion, or lifestyle retail is an advantage.
- Proven leadership ability in managing teams and store operations in high-volume environments.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in retail management and POS systems.
- Fluency in English (Arabic knowledge is an added advantage).
