Responsibilities

  • Assist with planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting berry crops
  • Operate and maintain farm vehicles and light machinery, including tractors
  • Support packhouse and field operations during busy seasons
  • Carry out general maintenance and repairs on farm infrastructure
  • Help maintain buildings, equipment, and overall farm grounds
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards

Requirements

  • Physically fit and able to handle manual labour and long work hours
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
  • Flexibility to work weekends and during peak harvest times
  • Previous horticultural or farming experience is an advantage but not essential
  • Must have valid work rights in New Zealand
