Key Responsibilities
- Position vehicles correctly for safe loading and unloading.
- Load and unload goods using appropriate lifting and tipping equipment.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Conduct regular vehicle safety and condition inspections.
- Estimate load weights and ensure correct weight distribution.
- Secure goods properly to prevent damage or loss during transport.
- Verify loading documents and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
- Deliver stock to stores safely and on schedule.
- Perform pre-departure checks to ensure transport safety.
- Operate vehicles and machinery safely and responsibly.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a truck driver.
- Ability to handle manual loading and unloading tasks.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and transport regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
