Key Responsibilities
- Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove rust, scale, and excess welds.
- Transport raw materials, tools, and finished products manually or using powered equipment.
- Assist welders, fitters, and machine operators with setup and production tasks.
- Immerse metal components in cleaning or polishing solutions.
- Sort metal sheets, parts, and scrap for recycling or reuse.
- Grind, chip, or polish metal surfaces using hand tools and power tools.
- Clean machinery and maintain work areas for safety and efficiency.
- Load and unload vehicles with materials and finished goods.
- Read and follow work orders accurately.
