Responsibilities
As a Team Leader – Fleet at GMG Dubai, your main duties will include:
- Optimizing fleet utilization to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
- Ensuring on-time and effective fleet services for internal stakeholders.
- Maintaining strict compliance with UAE transport regulations and company policies.
- Leading, training, and motivating a team of professional fleet drivers.
- Managing all fleet-related expenses including maintenance, insurance, fuel, and tolls.
- Scheduling and allocating vehicles for daily operations.
- Overseeing vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinating with workshops, vendors, and internal departments.
- Monitoring toll balance top-ups and ensuring accurate transaction records.
- Facilitating clear communication between management, drivers, and operations teams.
- Arranging vehicle registration and RTA inspection as required.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in fleet coordination, transport operations, or logistics management, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Strong understanding of UAE transport laws, regulations, and RTA processes.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, costs, and operational efficiency.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and fleet management systems.
