About the Role
The Heavy Truck Driver will be responsible for delivering goods across Oman and UAE routes. This position requires skilled drivers with a valid UAE heavy truck driving license and good knowledge of GCC roads and regulations.
Drivers must perform regular inspections, manage loading and unloading, and ensure that goods are delivered on time and in perfect condition. The job demands punctuality, strong communication with dispatchers, and adherence to all safety and transport laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and drive heavy trucks for Oman trips only.
- Safely deliver goods to clients across UAE and Oman.
- Manage loading and unloading of cargo efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of the truck to ensure safety and maintenance.
- Follow traffic laws, route designations, and weight regulations.
- Maintain accurate trip logs and fuel usage reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers.
- Report any delays, accidents, or mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
- Ensure timely completion of all assigned delivery routes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Must possess a valid UAE heavy truck driver’s license.
- 8 months to 1 year of experience as a heavy truck driver in the UAE.
- Knowledge of UAE and Oman routes is essential.
- Strong understanding of traffic rules and speed limits.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Physically fit, energetic, and able to work long hours.
- Honest, punctual, and responsible.
