Responsibilitie
- Perform welding tasks following company and industry standards.
- Assist with fitting and burning of plate and structural materials.
- Work according to blueprint and technical drawing specifications.
- Maintain reliability and professionalism during all assigned tasks.
- Troubleshoot welding or fabrication issues as needed.
- Demonstrate punctuality and dedication to meeting project timelines.
- Adapt to shift work and travel requirements when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
Requirements
- Ability to pass welder certification tests.
- Experience with fitting, burning, and structural fabrication.
- Ability to interpret and work from blueprints.
- Knowledge of welding processes including FCAW, SMAW, and GTAW.
- Marine welding experience is an asset.
- Experience with aluminum and stainless steel welding is an advantage.
- Willingness to work long hours and potential shift schedules.
- Ability to travel when required.
