Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping Attendant at voco Qatar, your main duties will include:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to hotel standards
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in all assigned rooms
- Inspect furniture, fixtures, and facilities and report any damage
- Respond to guest requests politely and efficiently
- Complete Allocation Sheets with room status and service details
- Record linen usage and special guest requests
- Report maintenance issues, lost items, and unusual incidents
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping pantries and corridors
- Ensure cleaning equipment is clean and in good working condition
- Follow safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals
- Maintain security of guest information and hotel property
- Report DND (Do Not Disturb) rooms daily
- Support additional tasks assigned by supervisors or managers
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Knowledge of cleaning standards and hotel procedures
- Understanding of workplace health and safety practices
