Responsibilities
Housekeeping staff are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and comfort in guest accommodations, houseboats, and resort facilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning guest cabins and houseboats according to resort standards
- Mopping and vacuuming floors
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
- Washing windows and wiping surfaces
- Making beds and changing linens, sheets, and towels
- Dusting furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces
- Vacuuming carpets, blinds, and upholstered furniture
- Stocking guest room amenities and supplies
- Removing and sorting garbage, recycling, and used linens
- Reporting damages or maintenance issues to supervisors
- Assisting guests with questions or requests when needed
- Ensuring cabins and rooms are secure after cleaning
- Keeping cleaning carts organized and stocked with supplies
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Performing other duties assigned by supervisors
Requirements
