Responsibilities
As a Cleaner at Arcare Sanctuary Manors, your duties will include:
- Cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Maintaining high hygiene standards across all facility areas
- Proper disposal of general and medical waste following safety guidelines
- Following strict infection control procedures and using PPE correctly
- Ensuring cleaning supplies such as sanitizers and soaps are stocked
- Operating cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and trolleys
- Supporting a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff
- Reporting maintenance or cleanliness issues to supervisors
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily cleaning schedules
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to obtain or hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Ability to work flexible shifts (AM or PM roster including weekends/public holidays)
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and manual work
- Understanding of hygiene and infection control practices (preferred)
