Key Responsibilities
- Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver items and products
- Accept payment or invoices for delivered items
- Keep accurate records of items received and delivered
- Prepare, package, and restock goods as needed
- Load and unload goods safely
- Sort packages for delivery
- Record trip details such as mileage, fuel usage, and any issues
- Pay and receive payments for delivered goods
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Oversee all aspects of vehicle safety and operation
Requirements
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate
- 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience
- Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, 2-axle vehicles)
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Must be physically fit for handling heavy loads
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stay organized
