Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machines in accordance with established procedures and safety standards
- Perform regular quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications and tolerances
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Adjust machine settings and controls as required to maintain production flow and product quality
- Conduct preventative maintenance (PM), total productive maintenance (TPM), and equipment cleaning
- Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or production problems to the Production Supervisor
- Accurately document production data, machine output, and performance records
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and resolve issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through lean suggestions and process enhancements
Requirements
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Technical certification or machine operation training is an asset
- 1–2 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, work orders, and blueprints is an asset
- Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting ability
