About the Role

The Office Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of GMG’s head office in Dubai. The position involves handling clerical duties, maintaining office supplies, managing documentation, and coordinating logistics related to office operations.

You will serve as a key support figure, ensuring that administrative processes are efficient and that all departments receive timely assistance. From filing and record-keeping to courier management and inventory control, this position requires high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general clerical duties, including typing, photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
  • Monitor and maintain pantry and office supply inventory to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Assist in the collection, distribution, and dispatch of payment vouchers, letters, and bills.
  • Support the maintenance and supply of office equipment when required.
  • Manage document control activities to ensure proper filing and easy retrieval.
  • Gather, enter, and update data in internal databases and records.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company documents and correspondence.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing courier services, ensuring timely delivery and dispatch.
  • Address and resolve office-related queries from employees to support daily operations.
  • Collaborate with the HR and Admin teams for facility management and office coordination.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in administrative or office support roles.
  • Proven experience in managing office tasks, coordination, and documentation.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently and prioritize workload.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office or corporate environment is an advantage.
  • Basic proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.
