Key Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant at Emirates British Nursery, your role will include:
- Providing attentive care and supervision to ensure children’s safety and well-being.
- Supporting teachers in planning and preparing engaging learning activities.
- Assisting children with daily routines such as meals, toileting, and rest time.
- Encouraging children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and positive classroom environment.
- Participating in nursery events, open days, and field trips.
- Preparing baby bottles and assisting with mealtimes as required.
- Managing laundry and other hygiene-related tasks within the nursery.
- Supporting and welcoming new staff members into the nursery community.
- Attending scheduled staff meetings and following nursery policies.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates should have:
- A minimum of a High School Certificate or a vocational qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (Level II).
- Prior experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting (experience from home country will be considered).
- Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
- A warm, patient, and child-centered personality.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework (preferred).
- Flexibility to work across any of the EBN locations in Dubai.
