Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Learning Specialist during student programming
  • Preparing instructional materials and setting up teaching environments
  • Maintaining equipment and supplies used in educational programs
  • Assisting and interacting directly with students in both large and small groups
  • Contributing ideas to enhance student learning experiences
  • Collaborating independently and as part of a team to ensure lessons align with VAI’s educational mission
  • Performing other assigned duties to support effective program delivery
