Key Responsibilities
As a Truck Driver, your duties will include:
- Conducting routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck
- Weighing the truck before and after loading
- Supervising or assisting with the loading and unloading of goods
- Checking that loads are secure and in good condition
- Planning the most efficient and safe delivery routes
- Delivering and collecting goods as per delivery instructions
- Maintaining accurate logbooks of driving hours and rest periods
- Keeping records and checking invoices for transported goods
- Complying with all truck driving laws, including size, weight, route, parking, and break regulations
- Following company policies and health and safety procedures at all times
- Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, incidents, or traffic violations promptly
Work Conditions
- Minimum guaranteed hours: 30 hours per week
- Maximum hours: Up to 60 hours per week
- Shifts: Day or night shifts, Monday to Sunday (rostered)
- Employment type: Full-time, permanent

Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
- A relevant and valid driver’s licence
- At least 3 years of truck driving experience (preferred)
- Strong understanding of road transport rules and regulations
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good time management and route-planning skills
- A strong commitment to health and safety compliance
- Physical fitness to assist with loading when required
